Social club

The social club is run by a committee of volunteers from across the department who organise and host social events and activities throughout the year. It's a great way to get to know workmates, build networks and have fun.

Salary sacrifice

We offer salary sacrifice payment options, the most common of which are superannuation and novated vehicle leasing.

Commuter club (MYKI)

The commuter club offers discounted rates for public transport users. It is open to all ongoing employees, and to employees on fixed-term contracts where the initial employment contract is 12 months or longer.

Recognition of prior government services

For long service leave purposes, we recognise prior government service of new employees – those who were previously employed in the Victorian public service or public sector, or by another state or territory's public service or public sector. If you are transferring from another Victorian Public Service body, your service will be automatically recognised.

Environment

We are committed to using resources more efficiently and reducing the environmental impact of the work we do. The department runs staff environmental campaigns throughout the year, and we have an active network of staff environment representatives.
