Applications are now open for the Victorian Government’s $20 million Local Living Fund.

Shops line the top and bottom of the picture, where a colourful road, decorated with bright paintings of blue, yellow and red lines the street. Council infrastructure projects may include outdoor dining furniture and greening initiatives, splash parks and parklets, public art installations and safety and accessibility improvements.

Grants will also give community organisations a chance to buy new equipment such as kitchen appliances, laptops and audio-visual equipment to assist their important work assisting communities.

The government is giving priority to projects in areas most impacted by COVID-19 and those that support the government’s 20-minute neighbourhood principles.

The grants are being delivered via two funds:

Information about the grants, including eligibility and how to apply, can be found on the Suburban Development and Regional Development Victoria websites.

Applications close Sunday 14 August 2022.
