Technology continues to revolutionise the way we live and work.
For Victorian businesses to thrive in a digital world, we need more people with the right digital skills for the jobs of the future.
The Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs program is continuing to build the state’s digital workforce by upskilling mid-career Victorians so they can transition into digital careers.
We are supporting over 5,400 mid-career Victorians to complete 12 weeks of industry-backed training, access to career coaching support, and have the opportunity to apply for a 12-week paid work placement with a Victorian business.
We are proud to be working with Victorian businesses across many sectors to build a sustainable digital workforce for Victoria. We’ve lined up some of the state’s top employers to host program participants, including ANZ, carsales.com Ltd, Commonwealth Bank, Zendesk, Infosys and Salesforce!
We’re looking for motivated applicants over the age of 30 who are ready for a career change, and businesses searching for great people with digital skills.
We’re backing Victorian workers and businesses to succeed.
Candidate applications for the latest rounds of the Digital Jobs program have now closed. You can complete the expression of interest form and we’ll contact you if there are any updates.
Businesses seeking to become a host employer are encouraged to contact us at any time

Meet John: Transitioning into a cybersecurity career with carsales.com Ltd
Since its inception in 1997, carsales.com Ltd has grown to employ 1,700 people across 9 countries. With that growth has come an increased need for workers with digital skills.
As General Manager of People Partnering, Anthea Corridon, explains, “I think it's well documented that Australia doesn't have enough skilled digital professionals to meet demand so we're all competing for the same small pool of talent.”
