Case study - 6clicks
Business partners Anthony Stevens, Louis Strauss and Andrew Robinson launched 6clicks in 2019 with the idea that risk and compliance management could just be a few clicks away for businesses.
Based in Melbourne’s CBD, 6clicks focuses on protecting consumers by providing an online platform that helps businesses achieve compliance, improve cybersecurity and reimagine risk.
The co-founders designed a unique ’hub and spoke’ software that works seamlessly for both cyber security advisors and businesses, driving massive benefits for enterprise customers.
In early 2020, 6clicks pioneered its own artificial intelligence (AI) engine, Hailey, successfully bringing artificial intelligence to the world of risk and compliance. This innovative technology has transformed the way 6clicks’ customers manage risk.
The AI engine built by 6clicks and engineers in Victoria is continuing to mature and has achieved automated control set mapping and gap analysis for compliance, streamlining previously laborious manual activities.
Since its launch, 6clicks has experienced exceptional growth in Australia and internationally, having embedded operations around the world and acquired hundreds of customers across a wide range of sectors.
Thanks to its success, 6clicks was a finalist in the Best Newcomer category in the 2022 Governor of Victoria Startup Awards which celebrates the outstanding contribution of Victoria’s $23.6 billion startup sector.
According to Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Anthony Stevens, 6clicks is on track to become Australia’s next unicorn startup.
“We tackle issues with risk, compliance and cyber security for businesses in a very innovative way by using AI and advanced technology, and it is very well received in the market,” he says.
In fact, 6clicks has set up satellite locations in the United States and the United Kingdom, exporting its innovative technology and expertise into international markets.
“Building awareness about our platforms overseas has been a very big challenge, but we are innovative, we move quickly, and we focus on the fastest way to deliver great outcomes for our customers,” Anthony says.
For the Victorian born-and-bred CEO, starting this ambitious venture in Victoria comes with its unique benefits and charm.
“Victoria is a great place to be and I’m proud to invest in this part of the world. Having Melbourne on the map is an important drawcard for international business development.”
