Visitors to the Bellarine Peninsula can now enjoy a new dining experience at Quiddity Place at the award winning Oakdene Vineyards.

Visitors can visit the Tin Liz Gallery and make reservations at new restaurant Hidden Frog from 19 November, thanks to support from the Regional Tourism Investment Fund.

Overlooking the magnificent view of Swan Bay to Queenscliff, the restaurant offers ‘modern Australian with European flair’ cuisine, matched to the range of award winning Oakdene wines.

The new gallery showcases the owner’s extensive First Peoples art collection and provides a platform for local artists.

The project delivered:

  • a restaurant that can host up to 150 patrons
  • an art gallery and event space featuring more than 100 pieces of First Peoples artwork
  • internal roads, additional parking and landscaping

The winery is a much-loved gem in the Barwon South West region. In June 2024, Oakdene won the Premier’s Trophy at the Victorian Wine Show for its 2022 Oakdene Liz’s Chardonnay and in 2025 achieved a Halliday Wine Companion 5 Red Star rating.

The Hidden Frog restaurant and Tin Liz Gallery will be a great addition to the existing Cellar Door which can hold up to 60 patrons, boosting capacity for local events.

The new restaurant and art gallery will be a massive drawcard to Barwon South West. In the 6 months ending June 2025, almost 5.3 million visitors spent $1.8 billion in the region and stayed more than 6.3 million nights.
