Together with the TAFE, the partners will work to strengthen pathways from training into employment. They will build their understanding of the needs of workers with disability.

Ideas and models generated through the compact can be used by TAFEs and industry across Victoria. Activities the partners will work on include:

  • improving inclusive recruitment
  • job design
  • onboarding and early employment support
  • workplace adjustments
  • student transition pathways.

The Centre of Excellence in Disability Inclusion is redefining what it means to deliver inclusive vocational education. It is driving better outcomes for students across all Victoria’s TAFEs.

We're proud to support the new centre, which has received an investment of $36 million.
