The Governor of Victoria Startup Awards are supported by Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC. They recognise leading entrepreneurs turning fresh ideas into impactful businesses.

Victoria’s startup ecosystem is thriving. We are home to 3,500 startups worth an incredible $132 billion.

Congratulations to this year’s standout startups making waves in tourism, healthcare, and aged care.

  • TRAVLR received Startup of the Year for its platform which simplifies bookings and marketing for tourism operators
  • Kismet received Scaleup of the Year for its innovative software which makes it easier for people with disabilities to manage their healthcare services
  • Andromeda Robotics received Best Newcomer for its AI-powered robot companion, Abi, providing companionship for people in aged care
  • Ben Armstrong (Archangel Ventures) was recognised as Investor of the Year for his mentorship promoting innovation and growth in the startup ecosystem
  • Dickie Currer (Hype Man Media) and Megan Luttrell (Aussie Founders Club), joint winners of the Ecosystem Hero of the Year, were celebrated for supporting early-stage founders.

The 2025 award winners join a growing list of visionary Victorian founders, investors and startups. They show that big ideas may start small but can grow into innovative solutions that improve lives, boost economic growth and create jobs.
