Explore more at the Kyabram Fauna Park
We’re making it even easier to visit creatures big and small at the Kyabram Fauna Park.
2 kilometres of dirt and gravel paths have been upgraded at the park. This will make it easier for visitors with mobility needs and families with prams to visit the exhibits.
This is the first project completed thanks to the Regional Tourism Investment Fund 2024. The fund supports new and innovative tourism infrastructure projects in regional and rural Victoria. Zoos Victoria also helped support the project.
This project is a great example of supporting the development of inclusive experiences in Victoria. A guiding principle identified in Experience Victoria 2033 is to deliver meaningful experiences and employment for people of all identities, cultures and abilities.
Kyabram Fauna Park opened in 1976 and has evolved into northern Victoria's premier wildlife park with a focus on conservation.
The park spans 55 hectares of open woodland, wetlands and lakes. It is home to more than 600 native Australian animals.
The Kyabram Fauna Park is a key drawcard to the Goulburn Valley region tourism economy, which in 2024 welcomed more than 2.5 million visitors.
By improving accessibility, more visitors can discover Victoria’s world-class attractions.
