Get Active Kids vouchers are in play
Let’s play! The popular Get Active Kids Voucher Program is back. Applications for round 9 are now open.
Through the program, eligible families can apply for a voucher of up to $200. They then submit the voucher to their local sporting club to redeem it. Their local sporting club must be a registered Get Active Kids Voucher Program activity provider.
There are over 2,200 providers with more than 70 activities From soccer to dance, find all activity providers on the Get Active Victoria website.
The positive impact of the vouchers is real. Close to half of families say their kids would not have been able to participate without these vouchers.
The scheme has opened doors to sport participation with almost 20% of children who received a voucher joining a local sporting club for the first time.
The program is open to Victorian kids:
- aged up to 18 and
- named on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, and named on a Medicare Card.
A special consideration stream is also available to support:
- children in care
- temporary or provisional visa holders
- migrants and international students.
And it’s not just the kids that benefit. By being a provider, clubs get more memberships and can provide even more opportunities for kids to reach their potential.
There are 2 rounds of the popular program in 2025-26, with a future round to open in February 2026.
Applications for the current round close 13 November 2025, or earlier if the budget allocation is exhausted.
