Global cold chain logistics leader NewCold expands in Victoria

The company has opened its new expanded facility in Truganina, supporting more than 200 local jobs.

The facility is one of the most advanced automated high-bay cold storage operations anywhere in the world.

It has grown by an extra 80,000 pallet positions, bringing its total capacity to 405,000 pallets.

This will boost Victoria’s:

  • supply chain resilience
  • logistics capability
  • advanced automated warehousing credentials.

NewCold is a Netherlands-headquartered global cold-chain logistics company specialising in automated, temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution.

In Victoria, the Truganina campus supports customers requiring frozen, chilled and ambient storage and distribution.

Victoria's freight and logistics sector contributes $36 billion to our state's economy and employs about 240,000 Victorians.

The Victorian Industry Policy and the $150 million Victorian Investment Fund are helping create jobs and grow the economy by supporting business investment in priority sectors and creating new opportunities for Victorian workers and businesses.
