New health learning hub opens in Wantirna

The new Integrated Health and Technology Learning Hub has opened at Swinburne University’s Wantirna campus.

The hub includes new digital learning spaces, clinical teaching rooms and a home care room.

Fitted with specialist equipment, it is designed to simulate real-world healthcare settings.

The hub will offer popular Free TAFE courses including:

• Diploma of Nursing
• Certificate IV in Community Services
• Certificate IV in Mental Health
• Certificate III in Individual Support
• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance

The facility will ensure the next generation has the health and community services skills they need for in-demand jobs.
Across the state, the demand for workers with healthcare skills is increasing.

More than 86,500 new workers will enter the health care and social assistance industry by 2027.
