Providing a launching pad for regional investment
Our Regional Launching Pads are now open for expressions of interest.
The Launching Pads offer bookable working spaces in select locations across the state to help eligible investors and businesses looking to:
- collaborate with each other and with government on regional development opportunities
- develop projects that will support regional economic growth
- grow their regionally-based business.
The Launching Pads spaces can be found in select Regional Development Victoria (RDV) offices.
These include:
- Ballarat GovHub
- Galkangu Bendigo GovHub
- Morwell Innovation Centre
- Wangaratta Government Centre.
International Chamber House is also available for those looking for a space in Melbourne.
The Launching Pads will provide a unique opportunity to connect with RDV's teams. They will also open pathways for ongoing engagement with the Victorian Government.
RDV's regional teams can help take projects and initiatives through from design to delivery. Backed by expert knowledge, they can help eligible businesses and investors identify local and regional advantages to support future success.
The Regional Launching Pads are set up to support:
- small regional businesses looking to expand
- larger, established businesses that have an interest in sharing knowledge and expertise
- metro-based or international businesses looking to expand their operations into regional Victoria
- investors interested in building and expanding small, regionally based businesses to help them realise their potential
- other sectors that support regional economic growth.
The Launching Pads support the Victorian Government's Economic Growth Statement. In doing so, they will help to unlock the potential of our regional economy.
It's part of our commitment to make it easier, simpler and faster to do business in Victoria.
