The 2025 Avalon Airshow is ready for take-off

Hundreds of thousands of people will descend on Avalon Airport next week for the 2025 Avalon Australian International Airshow.

The biennial Airshow is the biggest aviation, aerospace and defence exhibition in the southern hemisphere. This year’s event looks set to break all the records.

In 2023, the then record-breaking event generated $240.7 million for the state’s economy.

  • More than 248,000 people attended
  • 790 exhibitor companies participated
  • 280 official delegations from 38 nations flocked to Victoria.

The Airshow will commence with the industry trade show (25 to 28 March 2025). At this trade show, Victoria’s defence, aviation and aerospace industry will mix with the world’s best.

The Victorian Pavillion, will showcase cutting-edge technologies and the latest innovations in the industry of 70 small and medium-sized Victorian businesses..

Local companies will exhibit alongside some of the world’s biggest defence companies. They will offer unparalleled opportunities to showcase Victoria’s defence sector. This includes local companies such as:

  • SYPAQ
  • Corvus Technology Solutions
  • Marand.

Later in the week, the public airshow takes flight with 3 days (28 to 30 March 2025) of breathtaking flying displays featuring both military and civil aircraft.

Members of the public will also be able to get up close and personal with the aircraft on ground and meet the teams that fly them.
