Podium Australia has expanded its APAC headquarters in Melbourne, which is the company’s largest operation outside of the US.

Podium is a global leader in AI solutions for improving customer service, streamlining communication processes and building an online presence for everyday businesses.

Starting as a small-scale project in 2014, Podium has grown into a tech unicorn – a private company with a valuation exceeding $1 billion without entering the stock market. It now employs over 1,000 people around the world.

The Victorian Government first supported Podium to establish an Australian subsidiary in 2018, which has since experienced strong growth and now services more than 4,000 businesses across Australia and NZ.

Podium’s growing presence is a welcome addition to Victoria’s digital technology sector, which contributed $35.6 billion to the state’s economy in 2023 and supports more than 279,000 tech workers in 22,500 ICT businesses.
