Victoria heats up with major manufacturing expansion

The boost in R&D and manufacturing capabilities at the world-class facility will drive innovation across the company’s product range. This will increase their capacity to develop new:

It will also scale-up the design and manufacture of energy-efficient appliance solutions. This will help advance Victoria’s clean energy transition.

Rinnai employs 442 staff across its 3 Victorian sites. The company is a major supplier of heating, cooling and hot water appliance solutions. They deliver high-quality products and services to local and global markets.

The company recently participated in our Digital Jobs program. The program helped staff build advanced digital and AI skills to strengthen manufacturing capability and support high-skilled jobs in Victoria.

Victoria has the largest manufacturing workforce in Australia, employing more than 260,000 people.

The Victorian Industry Policy and the $150 million Victorian Investment Fund are helping to grow the state’s industrial base. It secures investment in targeted areas like advanced machinery manufacturing, creating jobs and opportunities for Victorian businesses and workers.
