Victoria to host 2027 Australian International Airshow

Victoria has secured the rights to host the 2027 Australian International Airshow - the largest aerospace and defence exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere.
Held over 6 days in Avalon, the Airshow combines a world-class trade show with a spectacular public airshow. It provides Victorian companies an opportunity to showcase their products to an international audience.
The 2025 event drew a record number of trade show attendees.
It also:
- generated $240.9 million for the state’s economy
- delivered an estimated $31.85 million boost to the Greater Geelong economy
- attracted 291 official delegations from 43 nations
- saw 902 companies exhibit.
The 2027 Avalon Airshow will run from 23 to 28 February 2027.
