The Easter holidays are a great time to get out and explore our wonderful state.

Head to Bells Beach for the iconic Rip Curl Pro, cheer on the runners at the Stawell Gift or step back in time for a ride on a heritage steam train.

The POWERCOR Stawell Gift has been held since 1878 and is one of the world’s most famous and prestigious foot races – and an iconic event on Victoria’s sporting calendar. Runners race for glory and prize money, as people from all over Victoria cheer them on. The men’s and women’s Stawell Gift finals, run over 120m up a slight gradient, are held on Easter Monday.

Head down to Bendigo’s beautiful Rosalind Park and surrounding streets for the iconic Bendigo Easter Festival. An Easter tradition since 1871, the festival transforms the streets with family-friendly entertainment, stage shows, live music and of course the famous Easter egg hunt!

Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach

The Rip Curl Pro is back and the world's best male and female surfers are in town to compete for professional surfing's most treasured trophy – the Rip Curl Pro Bell. The event holds a special place in surfing folklore, as the longest running world championship level contest on the World Tour.

Bellarine Railway Easter Specials

More than 140 years old, the Bellarine Railway has recently had a major track upgrade to preserve the historic line. Hop onboard a heritage steam train for a scenic trip from Queenscliff Station along Swan Bay and grab a photo and a treat with the Easter bunny.

The Falls Creek Easter Festival is back for another year and will be jam-packed with games, activities and fun to keep all the family happy. Join the giant Easter egg hunt or try your luck at the infamous egg toss! Enjoy a leisurely coffee or brunch at one of the many fantastic cafes and restaurants before you fill up on Easter eggs.

Easter Monday will be the last chance of the season to get Blue Dirt mountain bike shuttles to the top of the hill.
