Wake up to the waves with new accommodation in Inverloch
A massive expansion is on its way to Gippsland’s RACV Inverloch Resort, bringing a new wave of visitors to the region.
Thanks to our Regional Tourism Investment Fund, the project will deliver:
- 36 premium ocean view rooms
- more car parking
- the relocation of an existing villa
- a new wastewater detention storage system.
Overlooking Bass Strait and the entrance to Andersons Inlet, this project will help bring more visitors to the area. It will support local tourism operators and boost capacity for large-scale conferences and events in the Bass Coast and Gippsland regions.
RACV Inverloch Resort attracts an estimated 55,000 overnight visitors to the region annually. Accommodation is booked to near-capacity months in advance. The expansion is estimated to raise that number to around 75,000 annual visitors.
This will provide a massive boost to Gippsland’s tourism economy. 2024 welcomed 6.13 million visitors who stayed 7.39 million nights and spent $1.44 billion. The RACV Inverloch Resort expansion will help increase visitation to the region ever further. It will also create 120 jobs during construction and an extra 15 ongoing positions once operational.
Construction will begin in late 2025, with the new accommodation expected to welcome its first guests by December 2026.
