Help for apprentices is just a phone call away

The new Apprentice Helpdesk makes it easier for apprentices and trainees to get the support they need to succeed.
The helpdesk provides free advice to apprentices and trainees and their employers, and can support with:
- what to do if you’re having challenges at work
- resolving complaints or issues early, before they become more serious
- finding the right information about your wages, rights and responsibilities.
It makes it easier for Victoria’s 74,000 apprentices and their employers to navigate the apprenticeship system.
If you’re an apprentice or trainee and you need support, contact the Apprentice Helpdesk via:
- Phone: 1300 311 820 (between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday - excluding public holidays).
- Email: apprenticehelpdesk@djsir.vic.gov.au
- Online: visit Apprenticeships Victoria Helpdesk.
The helpdesk is a 2 year pilot program. It is one of several Victorian Government initiatives aimed at improving support, safety and fairness for apprentices and trainees.
