Supporting the local manufacture of life-saving rapid diagnostic tests

Thanks to a $250,000 grant from the Victorian Government, ZiP Diagnostics will be able to scale up their production capacity to meet increased demand across local and global export markets.

As the only manufacturer of point-of-care molecular diagnostics in Australia, ZiP Diagnostic’s products will bolster the state’s supply chain and play a critical role in preventing and controlling infection in future pandemics with locally made, lifesaving products.

Health technology continues to be one of the fastest growing sectors in Victoria, generating $3.02 billion worth of exports and employing over 51,000 people across the state.
