The $60 million Victorian Dining and Entertainment Program went live on Tuesday 29 March, offering consumers 25 per cent back on dining and entertainment purchases.

Dining rebates are available to anyone spending $40 or more dining out from Monday to Thursday. They apply to anywhere in Victoria, except the City of Melbourne municipality where Midweek Melbourne Money, delivered in partnership with the City of Melbourne, applies.

People can claim for entertainment when they spend $40 or more on tickets for the cinema, theatre productions, live music, exhibitions and other experiences and attractions across the state, any day of the week.

It’s part of the Victorian Government’s $200 million business stimulus package supporting local businesses and jobs. The program builds on the successful rollout of Midweek Melbourne Money and the Victorian Travel Voucher Scheme, encouraging people to get out and experience the best Victoria has to offer.

The program is available to anyone with a valid Australian bank account, including Victorians, interstate travellers and international students. Each person can claim up to $125 in combined rebates for dining and entertainment.

Claims opened on Tuesday 29 March. Rebates will be allocated on a first come, first-served basis until funds run out.
