Aboriginal economic development
The Dr (Aunty) Mary Atkinson Scholarship Program provides $30,000 per year for up to 4 years. Up to 8 scholarships are funded at any one time to support both undergraduate and postgraduate Victorian Aboriginal students to undertake full-time study in a range of fields related to the portfolio areas of the department.

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognises excellence in manufacturing. There are a number of categories under which manufacturers can submit nominations including the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame Honour Roll.
Outdoor recreation
Recreational Fishing Grants Program
Every year the Victorian Government, through the Recreational Fishing Licence Trust Account, reinvests Recreational Fishing Licence fees into projects to improve recreational fishing in Victoria. Since its inception in 2001, the program has funded over 600 projects, worth more than $21 million throughout Victoria.

Recreational Boating Structural Maintenance and Recreational Boating Access & Dredging Grants Program
The Victorian Government is reinvesting boaters’ licence and registration fees back into projects to improve access and facilities through the Recreational Boating Grants Program. Annual grants programs have been available to ramp managers to undertake dredging, improve access and conduct structural maintenance at their facilities.

Events funding
The Victorian Government provides funding for a range of major events and regional events through its tourism marketing and events company, Visit Victoria. It also provides funding for business events through Melbourne Convention Bureau and Business Events Victoria.

Governor of Victoria Export Awards
The Governor of Victoria Export Awards (GOVEA) are the state's most prestigious export awards that acknowledge and celebrate Victoria's most outstanding businesses engaged in international trade.
Open to all Victorian exporters, GOVEA winners are automatically placed as finalists in the Australian Export Awards – the national awards ceremony.

There are a variety of scholarships for international students in Victoria.
Venture Growth Fund
The Victorian Government has committed $25 million to establish the Venture Growth Fund. This fund offers eligible high-growth start ups access to venture credit of between $50,000 and $5 million, helping create jobs and driving economic growth.

The Victorian International Education Awards support the international education sector and raise awareness of the sector’s benefits to the broader community and recognise the outstanding accomplishments of the students, staff and institutions that make up Victoria’s thriving international education sector.
